Is there a IDE game creation software for windows and linux?
*sigh*

Some people think something then they believe it with no proof whatsoever...

Here is one. It is an open source cross platform IDE using c and c++. Hmmm I think this is what you are looking for???

http://sourceforge.net/projects/nutty/

And another for your pleasure Called SIDE...

http://sourceforge.net/projects/side1/

As you can see there are many out there you just have to know where to look.

Here are two tremendous resources for you to use. Bookmark them or better yet ust their RSS Feed and put it on your home page so you can see what is coming out of the chute each day...

Sourceforge of course is found here

http://sourceforge.net/

And Freshmeat is found here...

Note to the lady who responded so quick off the cuff. You have answered quite a few questions on here and have been labelled a "Top Contributor". Take the label and try to become the Top Contributor by taking the time to do a little research if you do not know the answer. And if you still do not know do like I do and refrain from answering. There is a quote by Mark Twain that is appropriate but I won't use it...

Just a little food for thought...

Look in the reference section for where I found the two cross platform programs. There you will find many many more...

Good luck and sorry about me crawling up on my soapbox. I just hate to see poor information being spewed by "knowledgeable" People...
Reply:Not for BOTH OSes, but you can find one for Windows buried down the page a ways here:

Then just use Wine or VMware to run it from Linux.
